I am excited about the upcoming year and all that I'll be doing in my community, across the country and with Free the Children. The experience in competing and becoming Miss Teen Canada-World has been fabulous and I know this next year will be unbelievable.

The opportunity to be a part of the Miss Teen Canada-World pageant will provide me with the chance to influence people in a positive way. I would like to use this amazing opportunity to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among teenagers. Teenage obesity has become a problem among Canadian youth and I would like to show them ways they can eat healthy and stay active!

Eighteen year old Taylor Stronski is an honour roll student in her beloved hometown of Claresholm, Alberta. She plans on attending the University of Calgary next year to pursue her dream of becoming a registered nurse. Taylor has had many achievements throughout her life, some of which include competing in figure skating at the national level, claiming the provincial title in ice dance two years in a row, and having the opportunity to be in the movie Texas Rangers, filmed close to her hometown in Alberta. She takes pride in teaching young children how to skate, being a mentor for “at risk” high school students, and being a leader in her school as a member of student council and grad society. Taylor describes herself as being motivated, passionate, and energetic. She strongly believes that hard work and attitude are two main factors in being successful in life.
