I am excited about the upcoming year and all that I'll be doing in my community, across the country and with Free the Children. The experience in competing and becoming Miss Teen Canada-World has been fabulous and I know this next year will be unbelievable.

Anjali Sandhu's goals...
I would like to be a good role model for youth by creating awareness about ways one can make a positive contribution to their community, and to the world. One of the many ways I can do this is by creating a community of teens who promote the principals of fair trade. The Miss Teen Canada-World pageant provides me with the opportunity to educate Canadian youth about the benefits of fair trade.

Anjali Sandhu is a creative, energetic sixteen year old who excels in all she does. She strives to create a well balanced life. She has a brown belt in karate and has won several medals in karate tournaments. She also excels academically, finishing the 08’ school year with honor roll status and winning a senior debating award. Her creative side is exhibited through her interest in acting. She loves to participate in productions at her school, St. Mary’s Academy, and attends acting camps. Anjali’s long term goal is to become a physician.
