I'd love to become Miss Teen Canada-World because I think that it would be a fantastic learning experience and a chance to work on my platform, anti-bullying. This opportunity has allowed me to showcase my community, meet new people, and fundraise for an awesome cause, Free the Children.
Katherine Highgate 's bio...
Katherine is an honors student at Lambton Central Collegiate in Petrolia, ON. She is a Student Trustee with the Lambton Kent District School Board and a former Prime Minister of her school's Student Council. Katherine represented her hometown of Dresden in the 2008 CNE Ambassador of the Fairs Competition, and was a competitor at the 2008 Odyssey of the Mind World Finals. She loves drama, and played the part of the Wicked Witch of the West in her school's production of "The Wizard of Oz." Katherine will be attending Ryerson University in the fall to study Radio and Television Broadcasting.
