I am excited about the upcoming year and all that I'll be doing in my community, across the country and with Free the Children. The experience in competing and becoming Miss Teen Canada-World has been fabulous and I know this next year will be unbelievable.

I feel that becoming Miss Teen Canada-World would help me bring light to many issues that I feel are important. I believe I can be a great role model for young girls and show them that they can do anything they set their minds to with some hard work and will power.

Alexandra Marshall is seventeen years old and goes to Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School. She is enrolled in the cosmetology program and spends most of her afterschool hours in a dance studio. She has won several regional and provincial festival classes and has been a member of the Brandon Dance Ensemble, a semi-professional company, for four years. One of her goals is to pursue a career in dance, but she also aspires to be a psychologist, with a focus in helping troubled teens through counseling. In her free time, Alexandra reads, spends time with her family and friends, takes yoga and Pilates classes, and enjoys being outside.
