I am excited about the upcoming year and all that I'll be doing in my community, across the country and with Free the Children. The experience in competing and becoming Miss Teen Canada-World has been fabulous and I know this next year will be unbelievable.

Kelsey Keddy's goals...

I aspire to be the voice of girls in today’s society. I want to motivate them to always do their best and encourage individuality. Being Miss Teen Canada-World would give me various chances and opportunities to make the biggest difference possible

Kelsey Keddy's bio...

Kelsey is the winner of the 15 Wing Youth Volunteer of the Year Award for 2008. At 15 years old, she volunteers at many places including the Humane Society, Joe’s Place Youth Centre, the Military Family Resource Centre and the Soul’s Harbour soup kitchen. She strives to help others and does what she can to make her community stronger. She attends a small Francophone school, Ecole Ducharme, where she takes an advanced mathematics program. While in Army Cadets, Miss Keddy took home the Commanding Officers Award, Best Overall Cadet Award, Perfect Attendance Award, Silver Star Proficiency Award and the Top Cadet in the Field Award. At the 2009 provincial Expo Science, she received the Canadian Cancer Society’s Award for the intermediate level. She enjoys baseball, music and, as she aspires to become a paediatrician, studying anatomy.
