I am excited about the upcoming year and all that I'll be doing in my community, across the country and with Free the Children. The experience in competing and becoming Miss Teen Canada-World has been fabulous and I know this next year will be unbelievable.

Andrea Bennett's goals...

Work to make a difference! Embracing individuality, leadership and commitment, her aim is to be a good role model to youth, across the country. Her motto is “Believe in Yourself and Make a Difference!” Enthusiastic in her pursuits, Andrea will continue to dedicate her time and commitment to supporting causes that are important to her. She believes that it is this type of initiative that will make this world a better place.

Andrea Bennett's bio...

 

 An enthusiast at heart, Andrea pursues all interests with great dedication and commitment. An International Baccalaureate graduate, Andrea graduated from high school with academic honours. Her academic pursuits earned Andrea awards of distinction and recognition, each year. Accepting a scholarship at a well-known Ontario university, Andrea is now entering her second year of studies. Interests outside of Academia include: skating, dance, swimming, theatre, fashion and modeling. In Andrea’s earlier years, she was a competitive skater, winning medals of distinction. Dance became her passion, as she began to explore other interests. She began dance, a little later in her years, dancing competitively, she became a member of award winning teams. She, also, danced for fundraisers such as the Rouge Production and the Viennese Ball. Andrea enjoys swimming and has earned her Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and LSS Assistant Instructor certification. She plans to complete her certification and become a swimming instructor.  She enjoys working with children and loves to swim, making this pursuit, a worthwhile accomplishment. Andrea has been involved in theatre and has most recently started modeling. In May, she modeled for Ottawa’s renowned fashion designer, Richard Robinson at the Grande Premiere 2009.   As a result of her participation in the Richard Robinson show, she was invited to “A-Channel, Ottawa” morning news to model designer’s fashion. Her participation in the Viennese Ball, provided for interviews with CBC radio, CTV television and articles in the Citizen Newspaper and Hello Magazine. Andrea enjoyed her experiences and plans to pursue her interest in media, modeling and fashion. In addition, to her studies and interests, Andrea continues to volunteer for her selected charities of choice.
