I am excited about the upcoming year and all that I'll be doing in my community, across the country and with Free the Children. The experience in competing and becoming Miss Teen Canada-World has been fabulous and I know this next year will be unbelievable.

I believe that being a Finalist in Miss Teen Canada-World is a great opportunity to show everyone that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. I believe that I can be a positive role model for young women across this great country, proving that success comes from hard work, dedication and goals and belief in oneself. Also I would like to encourage young Canadian women to recognize their unique talents and develop their confidence to take on challenges in their lives.
Alicia Anne Angus 's bio...
Alicia Anne Angus is 16 years old. She is currently going into Grade 11 at North Dundas District High School . In addition to her busy schedule, Alicia’s determination and drive has pushed her to participate in many sports. During her eight years playing baseball, and soccer as part of the Winchester girls' teams. Alicia has also participated in competitive figure skating for the past 13 years, she has often placed first or second in her competitions. She has also taken the time to mentor the beginner skaters; volunteering twice a week during skating season for the past four years to teach children, ranging in age from approximately 3 to 13 years, to skate. She has proven to be a positive role model for these younger children. Alicia works several hours a week at Dundas Manor, a Nursing and Convalescent home located in Winchester , Ontario . She has found interacting with the seniors very rewarding and educational. During the past 2 years Alicia has been developing her portfolio and her interest in modeling. She also very much enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, she loves skating, dancing, modeling, animals and of course fashion. She truly believes that you should “Be your own kind of Beautiful” because with our individuality lies our inner beauty and our strengths.
