I am excited about the upcoming year and all that I'll be doing in my community, across the country and with Free the Children. The experience in competing and becoming Miss Teen Canada-World has been fabulous and I know this next year will be unbelievable.
I'll be blogging about my experiences so stay tuned as my journey begins!

Alana Smith 's goals...
My goal is to create an NGO (non-governmental organization) that not only strengthens educational facilities and anti-bullying programs, but educates young people that are marred with the effects of war and violence, and crimes against humanity including bullying and discrimination based on race or religion. My hope is to create an organization that teaches children everywhere to use their voice to take action against bullying, discrimination and other humanitarian issues in order to make the world a better place.
