Katelyn Burke is a talented 15 year old, who always strives to reach the stars in everything she does, including Miss Teen Canada-World. In the fall, Katelyn will be entering Grade 11 at King’s College School in her hometown of Caledon. Katelyn maintains an average in the high 90’s while studying advanced academics; all in efforts to fulfill her goal of becoming a pediatric surgeon. Katelyn is also a very accomplished nationally ranked equestrian rider; this will be her eleventh year riding. Volunteering is another passion of Katelyn’s which was originally sparked by her equestrian career; she strives to apply her drive and passion for giving back in everything she does. Fundraising for Free the Children, volunteering, and helping others achieve confidence to make change are just a few of the ways Katelyn works to accomplish her platform; a goal she has continued to strive for as Miss Teen Peel.
