Hanna Peterson originates from Valleyview, Alberta, where she is a member of the Sturgeon Lake Cree First Nation. This bright sixteen-year-old qualified for provincial level Track and Field, competing in the 4x100m relay and high jump. She is a dedicated student, who is good at math, and has set as her goal to be an honours student so that she can get into pathology when she graduates. Hanna is devoted to her family and her community, volunteering for the Red Cross to help raise aid for the victims of the Slave Lake fire. This experience has driven Hanna to become even more involved in community functions and to become a good role model for her peers and the younger generation in her community. As one of Alberta’s representatives to Miss Teen Canada-World, Hanna is very grateful for all the loving support from her friends, family, and sponsors.
