Danica wants to enjoy and make the most of her pageant experience, getting involved in the Saskatoon community and across Canada; in doing so, she hopes to inspire and motivate others to do the same.

Danica Cox's bio...

Danica is an Edwards School of Business student at the University of Saskatchewan where she plans on completing her Commerce degree and building a career in the fashion industry. She is passionate about youth entrepreneurship and financial literacy and besides working part-time in the fashion industry, has started her own online business. Danica’s fashion sense and style compliment her personality and she often expresses her creativity through photography and fashion. Danica is a provincial sports ambassador having represented the province of Saskatchewan both nationally and internationally at numerous games and was selected for the Canada games training team for basketball. Danica was scouted at Ryerson University and offered a basketball scholarship to complete her studies. She believes in the importance of staying active; having also played both golf and volleyball competitively. Danica is passionate about community leadership and has volunteered with numerous community organizations, most recently doing an ad campaign with the Saskatoon SPCA. For the past three years she has coached youth basketball for Basketball Saskatchewan; which included coaching the U14 provincial girls’ basketball team in 2011 and winning bronze at provincials. She has also been refereeing basketball in the Saskatoon Minor Basketball Association for the past five years. Danica is committed to increasing awareness about Mental Health and depression amongst teens in Canada.
