Seventeen year old Kelley, from Shelburne County, Nova Scotia is currently in her grade eleven year at Barrington Municipal High School. Excelling in Arts, she strongly focuses on her academics and always strives to do her best. Kelley is actively involved in her high schools badminton team and teaching and excelling in figure skating. She always demonstrates leadership, dedication, kindness and determination in all of her activities. Kelley being a strong minded and independent young lady, plans to enter the Early Childhood Development field, and continue to earn her bachelor of education upon receiving her high school diploma next year. With a keen love for adventure and changing the world, Kelley will be traveling to Kenya, Africa in March 2013 to adopt a village and work with fellow classmates to help with the building of a school. With her platform being 'Raising awareness for Global Poverty', Kelley strives to do everything she can to support this cause. Kelley believes the key to success is confidence and hard work, and is honored to be representing the beautiful province of Nova Scotia at the Miss Teen Canada-World Pageant. Kelley would like to prove to today's society that at any time anyone can be that change, and for Kelley that time is now.
