All of our delegates have dreams and aspirations and we want to help make them a reality. There are many benefits to applying for MTC-W. It all starts at the regional level. We provide each contestant with training and workshops. We teach pubic speaking and how to ace an interview, proper etiquette as well as runway and stage presence. Guidelines on the film and entertainment industry are given and we also cover the reality of the Fashion modeling world. The result? Confidence is boosted, lasting friendships are made and girls have the opportunity to shine in front of a welcoming audience as the grace the stage and speak about their platforms. Receiving a regional title will allow you to act on your own convictions, be interviewed by local media and have a year you will never forget. At the national level, there will be more than one winner that night. There is over $25,000 in cash and prizes to be won; including scholarships for academic, modeling, acting, leadership and more. MTC-W wants every girl to have the opportunity to showcase their talents, show Canada what they got.
Winning the Grand title of Miss Teen Canada-World 2009 will open a realm of opportunity.
Shortly after your crowning you will be competing in the international Miss Teen World Pageant. We are the only pageant that qualifies you for this honour. As the reigning Title holder you will be taking centre stage and representing Canada as an ambassador and spokesperson through events, interviews and speaking engagements. You will be photographed, receive a full modeling portfolio and you will travel across the Canada. As we start 2010 national search all expenses paid. You will also embark across the globe with Free the Children to help humanity. You will be provided with a competition and appearance wardrobe as well, hair services and much more.
